Effects Editor
The Effects Editor enables our community of users to create and share sophisticated new effects for the benefit of all.
- Start by opening your image and launching the effect editor.
- At the top you can search through the different controls that allow you to edit and enhance your image. These boxes are called nodes.
- Underneath is the workspace where you build an effect. You can see that there are two nodes there already. Effect input represents the original image, and effect output represents the final effect or after image.
- To create an effect, start by dragging one of the nodes onto your workspace. For this image we are going to use the hue-saturation-brightness node as we want to create a Warhol inspired portrait.
- The next step is to connect up all of the nodes.
- Once you’ve done this double click on the hue-saturation-brightness node, this will open up a set of sliders that enable you to alter the original photo. To achieve a Warhol look we want to adjust the vibrance, hue and saturation sliders.
- When you’re happy with the results you can then publish your effect, either for your own use or for everyone in the Smart Photo Editor community to share.
- As you can see we have created a very simple effect, but by adding more nodes you can build up a more complex effect.
